Heart of Hope Ministries International is currently working in many capacities with orphans, the homeless, widows, and families in desperate need. HHMI plans to continue its current operations of the Ark of Love Christian Children’s Home, the Home of Hope Transition Home for young women, My Brother’s House Transition Home for young men, and Camp of the Good Shepherd. HHMI will continue its commitment to serve those most in need expressing the love of Christ through the support of Romanian nationals and American volunteers.
HHMI’s vision for the next 5 years is:
- To increase the spiritual ministry and village outreach program, which includes weekly Bible Clubs and humanitarian distribution, supporting Romanian Nationals in the work of the ministry.
-
To begin operating the Camp of the Good Shepherd in 2006 as a year-round camp and retreat center, that both HHMI and other Romanian international and national missions will have access to and see Camp of the Good Shepherd become self-sustaining.
-
To build and provide housing for visiting volunteers, both American and Romanian, for short term and long-term ministry.
-
To build and provide low cost social housing for the Christian young men and women leaving HHMI care facilities.
-
Continue to develop partnerships with local businesses for job opportunities as well as micro business development for the youth in HHMI’s care.
-
To encourage Romanian investment, both physical and spiritual, in whatever capacities can reasonably be developed and expected within the culture.
-
To increase the number of educational, vocational, discipleship, and leadership development exchanges between American and Romanian nationals.
